Additions and changes to Logistia Route Planner platform

Version 0.29.0

✨ What’s new?

  • We’ve redesigned the form to add a new order
  • The API can now support custom fields you have defined in Logistia
  • You can now add products on the spot on an order. Add products you haven’t defined in Logistia, with a default price of 0 (zero) and quantity 1 (one) that can be modified

🪛 What did we fix?

  • When the orders change their status to Delivered or Rejected, the new ETA and status are automatically updated for admins
  • Changed some labels for clarity

Version 0.28.0

✨ What’s new?

  • [Deliveries] The Assign Orders button has been renamed to Manual Route, which now features a map to increase the flexibility of optimizing and editing routes
  • [Manual Route] The timeline can be now changed to a vertical layout, a setting that will be remembered next time you access this screen
  • [Manual Route] In the vertical layout, double-clicking on an order will open a details panel. On mouse hover, the pin will be enlarged on the map
  • [Optimize Route | Manual Route] On the top-right corner of the map, a bubble will indicate the optimization mode: automatic or manual. You can click on the bubble to see more info and understand what these modes mean.
  • [Optimize Route | Manual Route] If a pickup order is paired with a drop-off order when you drag either one to a driver, the other will be assigned to the same driver too.

🪛 What did we fix?

  • When you select the drivers in the Optimize Route or Manual Route section, they will be displayed on the vertical or horizontal layout as drivers which you can optimize for or assign orders manually
  • If the group name does not change, the previous route settings will be remembered and preselected every time
  • Route lines are thinner
  • Minor other fixes

Version 0.27.0

✨ What’s new?

  • Create a new order faster by right-clicking on the map on the Deliveries screen
  • We’ve done some improvements in the routing algorithm with delivery areas
  • You can now send a message via WhatsApp from Logistia mobile app, in addition to the existing texting capabilities
  • You can set your employees’ navigation app (e.g. Google Maps) and navigation mode (Geopoint or Address)
  • After you optimize the route, the timeline will show the total number of orders assigned near each driver’s name
  • If you hover over a pin on the map while in the Optimize Route screen, it will show details to identify the order quicker
  • When you have only one driver, you can add a few more restrictions (break, capacity, or maximum number of orders)
  • If an order has the priority flag, you’ll notice it too in the Assign Orders (accessible from the Deliveries screen)

🪛 What did we fix?

  • Pick-up orders display the Picked Up wording on the button when the order is completed
  • The map can display text correctly for right-to-left languages
  • Minor other fixes

✨ What’s new?

🪛 What did we fix?

  • Colors on action buttons to make them stand out
  • Minor fixes

Version 0.25.0

✨ What’s new?

  • Drag orders to a specific position in the route using the timeline
  • Drag the orders on top of the driver’s name to reoptimize only his/her route
  • When you click on orders from the map and move them to a driver, the route will be reoptimized for that driver

🪛 What did we fix?

  • We’ve improved some labels for clarity
  • We’ve polished around some rough edges on the internal working, so the app is better for you than it was.

Version 0.23.3

✨ What’s new?

  • You can now search for a specific order inside the Deliveries to find it easier in the list
  • Starting today, you can clone all the orders from one day to another. If you have the delivery groups enabled, you can create another group for the day you want to clone. This helps with recurring customers and routes that rarely change.
  • And you can also delete an entire delivery day if you just want to start over.
  • We accept meta fields from Shopify.  Contact us for further personalization
